The bake element works by transferring heat from the bottom of the oven to bake or prepare your food. It is responsible for creating the heat necessary for baking and broiling. The part comes with installation screws and other elements. This is a black metal part (width 13 inches, length 16.5 inches, and depth 1 1/2 inches) that radiates warmth from the lowest part of the oven to bake or prepare your food. You may want to replace the bake element in case your oven is not heating properly. It can be hooked up to your range with a screwdriver. Setup is rated as a "medium" issue.
