GE COVER TUB KIT - Part# WH49X21274

First, the part itself worked great.
My review is based on my experience. I ordered this part, with no indication that it was not in stock, on 8/4/16. I called on 8/15/16 to ask the status, after the part had still not shipped. I was told I would get a return call. Later that day, after no return call, I called again. I was told that the item was on back-order indefinitely and there was no way to know when it would ship. I requested that the order be canceled and was told I needed to send an email, which I did the same day. I then purchased the item from another seller on Amazon with guaranteed two-day shipping. The next day (8/16) I received an email from PartsIPS stating, "The order has already been shipped. Cannot be cancelled now" with the tracking number. After the item arrived, after the replacement item I purchased and installed from Amazon, I requested a return and PartsIPS forwarded the company's return policy which included a refund only for the part itself (and the buyer pays return shipping) and a 20% restocking fee. After doing some quick math I decided I'd have better luck reselling the item myself than paying the cost to return and lose the restocking fee. Poor business all around. I had to call twice for information (which in the end was incorrect), I was instructed to cancel and they did not honor it, and in the end got stuck with a part that arrived 20 days later than it should have. Stick with Amazon and guaranteed shipping. It was less expensive there too.
